Evaluation of Gas Production, Fermentation Parameters, and Nutrient Degradability in Different Proportions of Sorghum Straw and Ammoniated Wheat Straw

The purpose of this study was to investigate the optimum proportion sorghum straw and ammoniated wheat in vitro vivo apply ruminant diets. One-factor two-factor experimental designs were used tests, with different ratios (S:AWS) 2:8, 3:7, 4:6, 5:5, 6:4, 7:3, 8:2 measure total gas production, CH4 dry matter degradability (IVDMD), organic (IVOMD) fermentation parameters. Additionally, nylon bag technique determine dynamic degradation these mixed feedstuffs for incubating sheep rumen 6 h, 12 24 48 h. results show that IVDMD, IVOMD, molar ratio propionate highest when S:AWS (p < 0.05) vitro; however, released much more 0.05).
